Flat Tire

So this morning I was actually doing really well with time, I wasn't rushing at all. I ate my breakfast, walked the dogs, and even gave them a longer walk than normal. Got ob my bike and thought to myself how nice it was. Then not even 5 minutes out I feel a pop and start hearing a sharp hiss. So I turn around and get half way home when before there's not enough air in my rear tire to ride on. Then walk the rest of the way. After patching the flat (after seriously contemplating just working from home) and then riding my 6 miles, I am now on my bus and was only set back about 40 minutes.

1,554.11 miles

My total mileage on my bicycle for last year was 1,554.11 miles.  When my bike commute bumped up from 8 miles a day to 15 miles a day, it felt like a drastic change at first, but now not so bad now that I am used to it. I just wish that it didn't take as long. I am hoping to invest in a road bike in the near future, and hopefully that will help me cut a bit of time off the commute. (And hopefully it not just me convincing myself that I could use a road bike...)
